I thought it would be fun to get some of your thoughts on the subject of earning the Voice CCIE certification.
So - what made you want to work toward the Voice IE?

As you can probably ascertain, I am a R&S IE and am now working toward the Voice IE. My personal motivation is to be more marketable. I have found that over the past 5 years since I passed the R&S lab that you cannot rest on your laurels just because you passed a CCIE lab. Passing is not the end - it is the beginning!!!

A couple of years ago, I worked around of a lot of sharp voice guys. I would lay the LAN and WAN for “their” voice stuff. I never thought that I would want to be one of the “voice guys”!!! Now, here I am.

There is a demand for sharp Voice folks out there and the demand is only going to get bigger.
